Summary

Are Gjellan joined the Hydrogen Pathways program in January 2006. Are comes to UC Davis from Innovation Norway in San Francisco, where he was a special advisor assisting Norwegian firms to establish US operations. Prior to Innovation Norway, Are spent four years as a researcher at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU in Trondheim, Norway) where he managed a large collaboration between several national and international Universities such as MIT Sloan School of Management and National University of Singapore.

Are graduated with a Master of Business and Economics degree at The Norwegian School of Management in Oslo where his emphasis of study was Macroeconomics.

2003 - 2005: Special Advisor at Innovation Norway San Francisco, an organization that supports Norwegian firms to establish international operations.
1999 - 2003: Researcher at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, a national university specializing in technology and natural sciences.
