ITS received the prestigious Robert Zweig Award, March 2006
The Institute of Transportation Studies received the prestigious Robert Zweig Award at the National Hydrogen Association Annual Conference in Long Beach.
The Institute of Transportation Studies received the prestigious Robert M. Zweig Public Education Award during the luncheon award session at the National Hydrogen Association Annual Conference. The committee is awarding the ITS “For its extensive hydrogen program headed by world-known researchers and scientists; publishing of over 50 papers on hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles and presenting over 80 papers at major international conferences; its broad graduate program to train the next generation of engineers, policymakers, and business leaders in hydrogen technology and policy”. Joan Ogden received the award on behalf of ITS and thanked the staff and all who support the hydrogen research at UC Davis. Ogden said “having known Bob Zweig for a long time, it is a great honor for us to receive his award”.
