by h2admin last modified 2007-02-28 14:40

While in Washington for the annual TRB conference in January 2005, ITS-Davis professors Dan Sperling, Joan Ogden, Ken Kurani, and Hydrogen Pathways associate director Anthony Eggert, together with Catherine Dunwoody, Executive Director of the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP), met to brief the Senate Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Caucus.

The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Caucus, co-chaired by Byron Dorgan (D - ND) and Lindsey Graham (R - SC), is a bipartisan group whose mission is to bring attention to hydrogen's role in long-term national energy and environmental security. The CaFCP's Catherine Dunwoody discussed recent hydrogen and fuel cell activities in California. Ogden, Sperling and Kurani highlighted their latest research and discussed clean, low-cost strategies for hydrogen production and delivery, and policy options for fuel cell vehicles.
